I, too, plan to visit Bali. I will be arriving on Nov. 19 for about a week before going on to Bangkok. I've never been to Bali before. My understanding is everything happens in the Kuta area, so I'd like to stay there. My accommodation needs are air conditioning, dependable hot water, clean/comfortable room, and a place I can feel secure at leaving my laptop or camcorder behind without worry of theft. Tourist class is okay; luxury's not really my style. Any recommendations? Anyone out there have experience with this?
