Just back and was horrified by the number of huge rats everywhere in Tuban. Between four of us we spotted 16 very big rats in our hotel grounds and other hotels we visited. Have seen the occasional rat there before but these numbers are scary especially when there are 4 rats together at a time and they are so unafraid and brazen. My opinion is that with the culling of the bali dogs and cats the rats are carefree with no predators. These rats would have been too big for cats to kill. Has anyone else noticed the increase in numbers.
