I flew this route last year - must admit I was a little apprehensive !!! but I needn't have been. You get bused from the domestic terminal to the international terminal in Jakarta.
You do not have to pick up your bags as you are in the transit part of the airport.
Airport staff take you to pay Departure Tax and then take you go straight to the departure gate. You do have to pay the International Departure Tax in Jakarta (you also pay a domestic departure tax from Denpasar to Jakarta) sorry can't remember how much but it is less than the international $150,000. The stop over I had last year in Jakarta was only an hour or so - and the time goes so quickly. The majority of passengers on this flight are going to Sydney. I wouldn't be concerned at all.
