Have been twice and loved it although both times have had issues, both times booking on Mara website, emails prior to arriving with transfer details (with luggage), confirming inclusions (not 100% clear on their website). Both times have initially had bad experience starting from being picked up two hours late and then a sedan arriving for seven people with luggage so more delays waiting for second vehicle to arrive. At check in, my booking clearly for seven adults, Mara disputing saying only booked for five, no room for two extra people. I showed them the confirmed emails and after a very long time, all good, got shown to our Tempo Family Room, more than enough room for all seven of us, fun times began. Similar issues with next visit last year. And then for Christmas present I booked two nights for my son and gf (they arrived at Mara yesterday), two nights booked and paid for with all inclusions, confirmed on emails. My son arrived to be told booking only for one night, only inclusions being breakfast. He produced confirmed booking voucher (for two nights), all emails confirming inclusions etc. Again, Mara took a very, very long time to accept all written proof documents. They are now enjoying Mara even though they had dinner for two in Tsavo Restaurant included in booking and then being asked for payment after their meal last night, Manager was called over and all sorted, eventually.
