would accept that driving to the airport in NZ or Australia with a child in a safety seat (Approved, registered, approved and all else) can disembark at DPS and then drive wherever with no such, approved or otherwise.
This graphically demonstrates that you cannot draw comparisons between Bali and where you have come from.
Its a different world in so many respects.....but you already know this.
Bottom line is that you are not going to get the cast iron peace of mind cover that you get in more regulated countries.
Having said that, if you do due diligence as much as possible, and stick to bigger companies, you do have a good chance of being looked after in the event of a mishap.
But absolute 100%.........I don't think so.
