we visited the beach wing rooms - ground floor pool access when family was staying there in March this year, & were impressed. Not huge rooms, but good enough & nice & modern. Apparently the breakfast was a bit average, but newer style rooms & service in general great. As you said it is very central location, we would definitely stay here if looking for central Kuta,
