Yes - the schoolies can be a right pain but there is another nuisance in late October and early November and that is the macho loud and foul-mouthed lower grade footie clubs celebrating end of season who treat the locals like dirt and have no respect for other visitors at their hotels. A lot of them are just as immature in their antics as the schoolies.
