They are lovely, the pools are excellent and the gardens looked after very well. Flowers are in bloom, there is greenery and color everywhere and it is very pretty. The rooms are fine, mine is bright, clean and has all new bed, mattress , pillows, sheets .and TV . These are definitely not shabby or tired. The tiles in the bathroom are not sparkling but this is a good Balinese style hotel and it is being well maintained .
They are charging less than half what the Padma, Mandira, Niksoma etc charge and at $90.00 per night for a deluxe room that has a view of the 2 pools, gardens and the ocean I am more than satisfied .
Your mate must be drinking too much Bintang.:)
