High numbers of Asian visitors stay only a few days on average and are now required to pay for the full 30 day visa.
Not so sure that Australian exporters would accept the "poor performing AUD" status either.
However, I agree that it has been a while since any increase was applied and probably justified.
Maybe USD5 increase would have been neater to make it USD30 pp.
Of course, for some anything that happens at the airport must be a money grab scam.
When I pay $10 for a $2 beer at an Aussie airport I am inclined to think there are a few scams going on there too.
