benthomas, even though you have misunderstood my question, and may have incorrectly assumed that I am being racist.I mentioned those on holidays for Ramadan, not Muslims (and whilst those observing Ramadan, are of course Muslims, I was more concerned about there being an influx of people in large cars blocking roads, and buffet queues as mentioned in other posts than their religion. My aversion is to traffic and pushy people at breakfast buffets, rather than anyone of any particular ethnic subgroup.
I live happily in a regional city with a very significant Muslim population which enhances the cultural diversity very well.
And yes for some people, their ethic or religious background does make a difference where they stay. Some hotels are renowned for accommodating Aussies, other Germans and other Russians. This is because they tend to be sold by particular wholesalers into certain markets. In addition, some places are recognised to cater well for particular dietary needs or social preferences.(take the Bounty for young people for example, or hotels that are known as gay friendly)
However, I take your comments in a spirit of well meaning advice. But it is probably unnecessary to educate or lecture me about my attitude.
