Think about it. Im not talking about expats and locals but really how would most tourists know??? are there posters up saying "Nyepi" on Wed ? or when people are checking into the hotels sre they given a piece of paper indicating Nyepi is coming up?
I bet if you went to the arrivals hall and asked everyone there about Nyepi they would probably think you just came from mars.
