Hi SueK I am a similar vintage and also going solo in May. And like you I'm having the first few days in Kuta to do some shopping & spa at some of my favourites in the Kuta/Legian/Seminyak areas then off to Sanur for the next 9 days. To my way of thinking Sanur is the a great place to chillax but still lots to do & see. Who knows we might cross paths!
