You'll get to Bali eventually! I hear Air Asia X has been given permission to fly from the eastern states to Bali, so I'm looking forward to that.
I actually like flying AA, but just not to Bali from Melbourne through KL, as it adds another 6 hours flying time and a lot more waiting time.
Funny thing about shop assistants in Indonesia - you either get no service at all or too much service...
