We were trying to work out when we were last in Sanur, and the trusty old passport showed it was in mid-2010 so that was three and a half years ago, how time flies!
Anyway I then checked out the photo albums and I have photos of the Bonsai Trees, they were so well presented and I have found photos of the head gardener showing his junior staff how to prune a bonsai plant.
The silly part about it was that they never charged anyone to wander through the garden and check out the Bonsai, and we believe that there were something like 300 plants there, they could have charged you 20,000 or 30,000Rp or more and it would have been worth it, must admit we always stopped for lunch or dinner or had a couple of cold Bintangs each time we visited.
Cheers, BJC
