Sorry to hear that they did not work. Mine opened on windows 8.1 Reader. I printed them out and they are VERY specific about the import duties on various volumes and alcoholic strengths of different beverages. Everything from wine to cider, sake, arak and "pineapple spirit"! Most of it was in Indonesian but there were columns in English. The poster is probably the best informed I have come across. He has written several articles and from what I gather, is well respected within the on-line traveling community. As I indicated before, I don't think it would be wise to argue with a customs official in Indonesia but if one has DECLARED their excess alcohol, they must be prepared to pay and if they had these documents in hand, they may not be as likely to be extorted I guess. I personally do not drink 25 dollar a bottle wine on a regular basis but for those that do, I doubt 30 or $35 bucks would put them off especially on Holiday which is where I shall be in a fortnight!
