you could always check with a doctor/pharmacist what may be suitable to give her in case of ear problems. My doctor suggests a dose of Demazin but I can't remember what the age restriction is on that. Having bubs drinking (breast/bottle) during take off and landing is a great way to avoid ear problems. One of you will be nursing bubs anyway at those times so it works quite well. If bubs gets upset, don't let looks or noises of distaste from other passengers get to you. Just focus on bubs.
