If this is the case if you are planning on returning inside of the 12 months you shouldn't have to worry about topping up at home even if the credit expires.
Really not sure as they gave me conflicting reports but the 12 months after credit expiry was mentioned by a few.
Maybe I can try where you went to see how I go. It's not so much the cost of the sim but the fact I would like to keep the same number as a continuous Bali contact.
