It shows you really do not know a lot of what happens here.
KL is only a short flight away. Sanglah is very good for smaller hassles.
Actually Sanglah is very good. Very few of my friends have insurance, most of them are happy to pay their own bills if an emergency arises.
As an example I have lived in Indonesia for nearly 15 years without any insurance. The insurance policy would have cost me $2,000 per year. Therefore I have $30,000 plus interest up my sleeve in the case of any hassle.
I have lent that money out at rates of up to 19% per month. Now do a few little mathematical sums and see where it all ends up.
