The majority of time that I spent in hospitals was while building them.
I am yet to know of one expat who has needed emergency evacuation.(a number of my friends have simply died. Insurance would have made no difference to any of them)
For the five years I lived in Tanjung Karang in Central Sulawesi, medical assistance of any type was not even available.
