We flew with Garuda from Melbourne a few weeks ago in Economy. At the airport on the way home, I went to the Garuda office and asked for the cost of an upgrade for the two of us. He quoted me $1399USD EACH.
Not willing to pay that, we stayed in Economy. We were last to board the plane and walked through business class. There was TWO people sitting there in the whole business class section and the economy class was jam packed.
Had a guy behind me kicking my seat with his knee for hours. Next time will fly Business regardless of the cost.....it's a long 6 hours!!
