OK agree with most here that you were probably over critical, but could see the funny side also.
Generally I have found hotel staff and police helpful.
Had one problem 2 years ago when my wife had vomits for some reason. I went to reception and asked for a bucket or container so she could exit the bathroom and try to sleep. Was told "that contingency is not part of our service". I told him that if he didn't help I would help my wife down to his nice clean lobby and encourage her to demonstrate her prowess. A second later the manager burst out of his office and barked ordered at the guy. Bucket delivered to our room 5 minutes later. So one instance of bad service in last 10 visits is not bad.
Street vendors are usually (95%) fine if you just refuse their approach with a smile. A few are more persistent but soon look for another mark.
1 & 5 probably correct.
6 10 cannot understand you. Always have had very polite and friendly relations with staff with exception above.
Overall to those who criticise Necros...don't take things so seriously. Was meant to be funny not a serious social comment.
