are much better from Ubud otherwise you lose 2-3 hours getting to and from the coast.
There are also more things like meditation and yoga classes if you're into that kind of thing.
I second the jewellery making rouse - we did one and really enjoyed it. We did it via Chez Monique in Jalan Dewi Sita. You book in at the shop and then go their family compound to do the jewellery making. Best idea to think about what you'd like to make before you go though and perhaps have some pictures.
