There's always many facets to a story - the bloke who was strangled for instance. Certainly tragic, but where was there any information on his activities before this happened? Was he just a tourist there who was set upon by bandits or was there some other reason why he might have been targeted? What was DFATs response to Channel 9s request for interview? Was there even a request? Were the police the 'reporter' was talking to even involved in the inital investigation?
It's things like these, not to mention the sensationalising language used that makes it rubbish journalism.
I don't think anyone disputes that bad things happen in Bali, but this kind of rubbish does nothing to discover the causes (and possibly stop it happening in future), it's just done for ratings.
