No idea of your age, dining preference, price range or the location of your accom. etc but here are some of my comments on a number of restaurants:
LANAI
Blue Ocean, Beachfront, Legian.
A ‘tried & true' restaurant that I have attended on numerous occasions, I can always trust the meal will be good - though the tablecloth may be soiled :)
Ocean views, comfortable, busy.
SEASIDE
Blue Ocean, Beachfront, Legian. (LHS as you exit Kumula Pantai Hotel on beach).
Another trusted restaurant. Fab ocean views, relaxed setting. Reasonable prices.
PEARL Address: Pearl Hotel,
Jln. Double Six, Legian.
Phone: 732.743
French restaurant that is highly acclaimed with true french chef.
Price Range: Moderate
Seminayk is a foodies delight.
Recommended Seminyak restaurants are:
ULTIMO - Jln Laksmana
Very reasonably priced for the area, but popular so booking is recommended! Delish food. Very reasonable prices, good ambience. Best to book as it's very popular. If you don't book, just present and you can often wait at the bar till they seat you.
Address: Jl. Laksmana 104X Oberoi-Seminyak, Kuta, Bali 80361

RUMOURS - Jln Laksmana
Very reasonably priced for the area, but busy. Popular with families. (Only a few doors down from Ultimo).
THE BISTROT
Jalan Kayu Aya 117 (in front of the Red Carpet Champagne Bar) Seminyak
Beautiful!! Love the French chic decor and chandeliers here. Art deco sofas, lounge music. Fab food, beautifully presented, reasonable prices.
MAMASAN - Jln. Raya Kerobokan 135, Kerobokan, Bali 80361, Indonesia 0361730436
Make a booking as it is popular. Upstairs bar area with lounges is best. Have dined here several times. Great cocktails too. Fab asian/european fusion food. Happenning, trendy, great service place.
SARDINE - Jalan Petitinget No 21, Kerobokan, Kerobokan, Bali 80361, Indonesia 62 3618436111
Adore the ambience and setting amongst lighted rice padi's....breathtaking, spectacular, stunning!! Highly recommended. Divine food, mostly seafood.
METIS - Jl Pettinget No 6, Kerobokan
Another place to be seen. We didn't have a great experience here - though others rave about it. Food overpriced and the people too showy for my liking eg. Mr Ralph Lauren who had his polo shirt collar turned up so that all and sundry could read his brand of shirt...haha. Had fun taking photos with someone elses camera we found charging though (after we'd consumed several cocktails!)
LA SAL - Jln Drupadi
La Sal serves the most beautiful Spanish Tapas and delicious Sangria. The chicken croquettes are quite amazing. It is a quiet, romantic place and a bit expensive once you add drinks, but rather beautiful!
Address: Jln. Drupadi 100,
Seminyak.
Phone: 738.321
Price Range: Moderate
DELICIOUS ONION - Jln Drupadi
Cute little restaurant on Jln Drupadi serving a modern take on asian dishes. I have stopped in here for lunch whilst Seminyak shopping. Tasty tapas. Famous pineapple margarita recommended.
Address: Jln. Raya Seminyak,
Seminyak.
Phone: 081.337.894.243
Price Range: Cheap
SORISSO - Jln Drupadi
Little Italian place. The happy hour cocktails at 30,000rp are value.
Address: Jln. Drupadi,
Seminyak.
Phone: 738.307
Price Range: Moderate
SAMAYA - Jln Laksmana
Stunning place, good for a sunset drink at the very least. Delish strawberry daiquiri for 95,000rp.
LA LUCCIOLA - Jln Laksmana
Beautiful setting & gets rave reviews. Pricey but great for a special occasion.
CAFE MOKA - Jln Raya Seminyak
Decent coffee & delish mini coffee eclairs. An airconditioned haven whilst Seminyak shopping.
BIKU - recommended for any meal, but do fab 'high teas' for about $10.
Address: jl. Raya Petitenget no.888, Kerobokan, Bali 80571, Indonesia
Phone: 0361 8570888 | www.bikubali.com
I have only mentioned Legian and Seminyak restuarants.
I could go on but will stop here.
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!
Ruby.
