It seems to be getting worse. We stayed around Padma Utara last month and people at the hotel we stayed in had their money stolen from the room safes so we chose to use the reception safes thinking that was a better option. If this is starting to happen more it may well drive people away....let's face it who wants the worry on holiday of stressing if your money/valuables are going to be there everytime you go out. Not really sure what the answer is......must say that have been going to Bali for 20 years and been over 25 times and touch wood so far nothing has happened to us.
