In reply to Hoolz, as a 20 year Navy veteran I don't have rose coloured glasses when travelling to overseas destinations, what's more I do think people should be informed of crimes occurring in Bali,Thailand etc. so they can be more cautious. I also don't think two wrongs make a right i.e. crime in W.A. versus crime in Bali.
My point was that the media in W.A. seem hell bent on crucifying Bali as a tourist destination! See today's "West Australian" front page news as a classic example.
