Dependable security in Kuta?

Are there secure safes within the budget hotels of Kuta? Can I program the safe with my own pin code to guarantee security? Are the hotel doors secure enough to avoid any type of problems?

Will be traveling with a small fortune (approximately 20,000,000 rupiah) and hope to keep it mostly for entertainment and drinks!
