There is a saying that there is no such thing as a silly question Bruce I am glad you have asked these classics that I often pondered over when trying to help the Bintang factory workers get more overtime by sampling copious amounts of their products.
Your question And explain to me again why my watch stopped on the plane home?:
Answer The vendors questions, and your answers determine that. When they ask, "where u from, where u stay"? they are really leading up to "how long u here"? They then programme the watch to stop when its too late to come back and have a crack at them, generally when you are flying over West Island New Zealand (formerly Australia).
Your question The lighter shaped like a grenade was seized at customs?:
Answer Too easy. These are really grenades disguised as grenades which are really cigarette lighters destined for North Korea and when the countdown stops they will be used as....Ah doesn't matter, as I said that one was way too easy.
Your question The kite and spinning/hovering thing doesn't work in New Zealand?
Answer Simply that they are northern hemisphere kites/spinning/hovering things.
I worked these out a long time ago, and if there are any more Bali mysteries people seek answers for, I will be more than happy to share my insights.
