if you fly garuda you can purchase duty free liquor and carry it on the plane in your plastic bag as per most international airports around the world. it doesnt have to be delivered to you.
jetstar have an internal screening section and they are very strict and anal about bringing liquids onboard even after goin through security checks getting into the airport. probably more to do with deals with australian duty free outlets.
