I would suggest you open an account at the Commonwealth Bank here as it is reasonably comparable with banks in Australia.When I opened my accounts here I needed a letter of introduction from my Commonwealth bank manager in Australia saying I had been a customer for X number of years.Not sure as that is still a requirement as this was a couple of years ago.I have a Rupiah account,US Dollar account and an Aussie Dollar account all tied to internet banking facilities.It all works well most of the time.
One thing you will have to get used to is the long wait in any bank for the simplest of transactions.Email me if you need more details.
