When we were in Bali in July hols we stayed at Febris and as a first timer to this hotel didnt quite know where the laundry were. I walked up and down for a few days and didnt spot any so went back to place i used when we stayed at Vira years ago. It appeared closed and one of guys from a stall stopped me and said he would do our laundry. Well there started a half hour of unwanted debate as he insisted that my two plastic (Coles plastic type) bags could not be done for any less than 600,000 and then tried the 400,000 and whilst yes I tried to walk away he had other store holders now in on the picture trying to pressure me, my kids were nagging say "just leave it with him mum". BUT after 9 trips to Bali I knew better and was not in mood to haggle over damn washing for goodness sake, but really needed our washing done. Finally got him down to 220,000 and I was still really annoyed with myself for leaving it there and not just walking away. I know it was waaaaaay over priced but sometimes it is just not worth hassle. Next day found I out around the pool the DVD shop upstairs next to Dynasty does laundry and would have cost me about 30,000 the informant told me !!! Ah Bali time, Bali ways... I am still learning every trip I take ....
