the initial Simpati sim costs about 10,000 to 60,000 depending who you purchase one from. It gives you 5,000rp credit for starters. August just gone I added 100.000rp $10.50 and it lasted me 15 days for phone and internet. You can top-up anywhere.
It says for the 100.000rp you should get about 2gb download and lots of calls. We have a his and hers and txt's to Aust are cheap, it is just the matter of adding the prefix to the Aust number. There is also a cheap code to call Aust which uses a skype type facility and sometimes it is good and sometimes a short delay.
