I'm not sure what went wrong but I jumped thinking it was pretty straighforward and then somehow hit the water awkwardly and shockingly hard and was immediately in pain. The seas were a bit high that day and i think that maybe a wave rolled through and I hit that. I was a little dazed and it took me a while to get myself together enough to work out where the ladder was and even then I couldnt seem to work it out so it took me a while to get myself up the ladder. Once over the ledge I could barely walk and couldnt sit down. I already had a bruise which completely covered my backside and down the back and side of both legs but my real worry was that i had damaged my back or my coccyx. I had it checked out when I got home and it turned out I hadnt done any long term damage but couldn't sit comfortably for almost 6 weeks.
