If the alternate is one that is often highly recommended on here, you'll be fine. I booked through him last August. He helped me out with getting the free transfers, since they only apply to bookings of 2 more people. Originally, he was going to have one of his guys pick me up on a bike and take me to another hotel where other people were to be picked up that he'd booked as well, but in the end he somehow got it sorted that I was picked up at my own hotel and all was great.
