We stayed in a villa (3 bed, virtually beachfront, $220 per night, beautiful), quite a way from town, but most restaurants will come pick you up if neccessary.
Next time you get to Candi, see if you can make your way to white sandy beach, about ten minutes north of town. Takes me back to Jimbaren 25 years ago.
Diving up at Tulambin (?), but we've snorkelled all around the little islands straight out the front of beach too
