Last year we were having a family reunion, so 3 bookings were required. Told the "travel Consultant" that we wanted to be in the same hotel. When we arrived we discovered that 3 different hotels had been booked with 3 similar names.......agent didnt bother to check and I stupidly trusted the agent. The car ride distance would have been 30 minutes between the furtherest hotels. We had to pay the extra to get us all in the one place. THEN came the battle. The agent blamed Qantas Holidays, Qantas holidays blamed the agent for not checking. Then they both blamed me for not checking either. In the end I gave up because I didnt want to have a stroke about it BUT now I tell everyone not to use the company "Travel Counsellors" AND TO ALWAYS CHECK AND DOUBLE AND TRIPLE CHECK THE DETAILS
