I think that most people are in denial that collectively they are a huge
part of the problem.
As for solutions, only the Indonesians can implement these, but as travellers we could contribute by spreading the intense focus currently on southern Bali to other areas of Indonesia.
It's a huge and diverse country with many beautiful places to visit.
Regretfully we seem to be like the people on Blackpool or Brighton beach, all wanting to sit on top of each other, when just around the headland there is a vacant expanse.
