I love Bali but I'm first to admit that it's quite dirty... Rubbish everywhere due to tourists, even on day trips, away from Kuta, the sides of the roads and drains have rubbish in them.
The random waft of sewage is another thing that reminds you that you're not in Melbourne. Not being able to drink the water from the tap is another issue.
