A few years ago I was at the Beach end of Poppies II and they had the drain cover up to clear the rubbish build up, the majority of the rubbish was those little disposable cups the locals get their coffee etc in! I've been to Bali quite a few times and I think the majority (not all) of the rubbish comes from the locals!
