It's our favourite place, we stayed a yr ago & absolutely loved it, we didn't go all inclusive but we are having our honeymoon there later in the year & have definately gone all inclusive this time!
They're are plenty of restaurants outside the hotel though as well as supermarkets, money changers, massages places, market stalls & it's lovely & quiet no hawkers annoying the hell out of you.
Pool bar is my husbands favourite place, great mojito's & ice cold Bali hai (hubby not a fan of bintang) say hi to Budda, we spent a lot of money just at the pool bar - another reason to go all inclusive!
Hotel & grounds are gorgeous, staff are awesome, food great, rooms lovely but ask for one away from the lounge, bit noisy at night when 2 little ones are trying to sleep.
In my opinion all inclusive is worth it, it does add a bit to the bill up front but we figure we'd spend that much on food, booze & water sports anyway. We were one of the few staying there that didn't go all inclusive.
