Sorry about the rather medical detail but magnesium both relaxes muscles and helps draw liquid into the bowel. Of course you need to make sure you're drinking enough water (no, Bintang is not water!).
Take a couple of tabs the night before and you'll be good to go when you have brekky - and it's probably best to do a trial run in Aust before you go, just to make sure you don't over do it.

Lovely subject, why does it always come down to this?!
