On a recent trip to Bali,We stayed a the MELASTI LEGIAN HOTEL.This was our fourth stay at the same hotel however this time we found ourselves paying double for drinks and food at the front bar and pool bar.What they do is if you pay cash for your bill (which i do every time)and don't take the reciept they (the staff)pocket the money and send the bill to reception as unpaid.I only found yhis out on my last day and that gives no room to argue the point.Scince then i have heard and talked to other people who have sufferd the same fate.This will not stop me going to bali but no more cash transactions and no more tips to bar staff(generous tips i might add).Book your drinks etc to your room and pay in the morning.appart from that our 26th trip was still enjoyable.Needless to say we will not be staying at Melasti for a fifth time.ENJOY.BEWARE.
