I used to barter in Bali more than 30 years ago. I would barter my clothes or sun glasses with the beach hawkers.
In most cases you won't need to bargain with a "Bluebird" taxi driver.
Usually bargaining is only necessary in markets and with street or beach hawkers however you can try bargaining with anyone. You have nothing to lose lol! Good Luck!
