I'll be staying for a week in the Griya next week and am wondering if anyone can tell me if the renovations have finished in the lobby? Also is it a nice breakfast there or does anyone have restuarant recommendations for breakfast in that area.
This is the first time after kids that hubbie and I will have been to Bali without them and might be able to justify spa treatments etc. Does anyone know of a good spa for massage, pedicure etc in Sanur. It seems the prices have gone way up.
I was also thinking of going up to Ubud for a shop. We drove through it on the way to Bali Baik last time and the shops looked nice. I have never been there to stop. Is this a good idea and how long / how much does it cost to get there from Sanur?
Lastly, I read that Duty Free grog is cheaper to buy in Bali than in Perth. Is that shops at the airport and does Garuda allow you to bring it into the aeroplane?
To pass on a bit of info - apparently Garuda does seat allocation in advance if you ring their office in Australia. I'm going to try it on Tuesday.
