There was a piece in the local paper about the attitude of Porters and some big wig from Jakarta stated it was the only place in the world he has travelled where the porters are inside the terminal where they should be outside returning the trolleys. He stated there would be changes. When we left about 10 days after the article we had no problems with trolleys. Plenty and only had a small amount of luggage so pused the trolly ourselves. The porters were there if we needed them.
There was also mention of him stopping VOA as he said it was getting out of hand.
All may have been the little shakeup that is needed every so often. They have to make a dollar to support their families.
