with the expected rise in fuel prices across Indonesia on April first (unfortunate date?), all transport, taxi and other commodity prices with any fuel price input will go up.
The price rise is significant, in the region of 30%.
This will be extremely hard on locals, who are naturally upset about it.
To us it will be a few extra rupe at the pump, taxi stand or transport shop, and small increases in other areas.
Do not expect to travel for the same price after April 1st as you did before it.
