have you seen the villas behind Padma hotel. Rumah Santai Villas & Spa. We stayed at Mandira for years but have switched to Rumah Santai they are bigger, more private and relaxing and cheaper than Mandira. The rooms are huge and they have a small kitchenette. I have to stop telling people or they will be full when I want to book. You don't get the big overcrowd noisy buffet breaky but la monde restaurant will deliver food to the villa or pavone is just across the road. heaps of other cheap options for breakfast close to the beach.
