I was admitted to BIMC later that night. Originally they thought because I had fainted that I had heart trouble (?????) and so 1Cover needed to talk to my doctor to find out if I had a previous heart condition. Then the next day the blood tests confirmed dengue fever. By then I had to pay for my hospital time so 1Cover agreed to repay me asap after I got home. Luckily I had a brand new Visa card to use or I would have not been able to afford it otherwise. At least I got lots of frequent flyer points lol. Good to hear about Southern Cross as well. It is a horrible illness for sure but it won't deter me from going to Bali, after all they have mossies in Qld and NT so it could happen anywhere.
