burmycat did you have to outlay the money yourself before leaving BIMC... its just most people dont have extra funds to be able to do that, I also was in the same position 2 years ago hospitalize with dengue fever, it is horrible to say the least, I had southern cross cover insurance and they payed BIMC as I was checking out of hospital, which I found alot better with not having to use my own funds. Then when I return to perth more blood test and Drs bill they covered the lot! I wouldnt go with any one else after this experience, Hope you feel better soon.
