I know of one business that went under (and deservedly so) because of blatant rip offs & theft that was reported here & on other fora. I'd be interested to know the number of hits per day on this site. For everyone who posts there are many others who don't. They read & take notes & sometimes do a JBR.

The person involved in the above incident did reply on this forum & was permitted to do so.

Traders dealing in unscrupulous ways will often rely on the once-a-year tourists who know nothing about past rip-offs &/or poor service & will do nothing about it once back home. At least here, & on the other fora, unscrupulous traders can be identified to save others from making costly errors.

There may very well be a valid reason for the delay. But if not then perhaps the threat of posting on this & other fora might make the person involved do something. It seems there has been plenty of time or the OP would not be so frustrated.

The OP seems to be at the end of his tether. The mention of a negative post here may well elicit the desired result. It is worth a try. If it doean't work & the goods are not delivered then the trader should be named. I'd be grateful for the heads up.
